Chocolate Bacon

"Chocolate is the greatest food on earth. Except for bacon." A quote from Ernest. Then I told him about the bacon flavored-chocolate I'd discovered on the internet. (He calls it interweb, is that something new I should know about?)

I would order some, except the shipping cost is outrageous. For a $40 order, $21 shipping. For a $15 order, $17 shipping. They say they must upgrade me to 2nd day air because of where I live. That sucks. I'm not in the desert! I should be proactive and call to complain but I'm not that kind of person. I'm feeling very Charlie Brownish: Good grief!

Chocolate bacon? Whoa. Maybe we could pop bacon and chocolate into our mouths simultaneously?

Do you have a Whole Foods nearby? 'Cause they carry Vosages chocolates.

I've heard of this chocolate bacon. I'm not trying it though, I like my chocolate pure and not tainted with anything else, no matter how good.

The interweb? Its in the lyrics of a Say Anything song. Maybe that's where he got it?

So my son's joking with me. I found this:

1. interweb

A sarcastic term for the internet. Often used in the context of parody regarding an inexperience, unskilled, or incoherent user. "Hay guys, I'm using teh interweb!!!"

OK, he thinks I'm a lolcat.

Chocolate bacon does not sound like anything I would want to try. Well, at least while sober.

Chocolate bacon sounds interesting. Have you tried Pig Candy? It's from the Sweet Potato Queens Big Ass Cookbook: You take bacon, roll it it in dark brown sugar and then bake it in a rack over a cookie sheet at 350 for 20 minutes or so. Viola - sweet, salty, fatty, and so durned good, it'll make you want you to slap your mama.
