My Christmas Eve to-do list

  1. Watch Christmas movies/shows (Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Grinch, Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th St, It's a Wonderful Life, etc.)
  2. Grocery shop, because the store will be closed tomorrow.
  3. Stay out of the way of Handy Husband's Home Improvement projects (garage door opener and pantry light). Also, he's going to help Ernest take apart his iPod because the headphone jack is pushed in.
  4. Make apple and pumpkin pies for tomorrow.
  5. Watch the wind blow outside and wonder if it's going to rain. Watch Pooh's Blustery Day.
  6. Go out to dinner.
  7. Open presents (we always open them on Christmas Eve.) Perhaps we should rethink that...if we're not having stockings this year, what will we do on Christmas morning? Actually, I think Santa made a stop at See's Candy yesterday so there will be a LITTLE something.

Oh dinner sounds fantastic! This is what I would order: Rigatoni ai Tre Funghi with a nice glass of Cab. Enjoy the movies, family, kitties and I wish you the Merriest of Christmases!

We celebrate by opening some presents on the 24rth, our German christmas, and the rest, including stockings, on the 25th. It stretches out the fun!
