Utter Destruction

We heard a cell phone dimly buzzing. Not mine, it's in my pocket.

Ernest said, maybe it's Dad's. Nope, if he left it at home it would be in the bedroom.

This buzzing was coming from somewhere in the living room. It stopped. I called Ernest's number. What do you know? The buzzing started again.

We strip searched the furniture, thinking that the phone would act like all the remote controls in the house and be stuffed down between some sofa cushions. Nope. He finally located the phone, somewhere on the floor under something else. And my living room resembled this disaster area. Wait a minute. It IS this disaster area.

Where's the oddest place you've ever found your cell phone?

Well, Clive has a great habit of taking my phone without me knowing it and leaving it wherever he looses interest. I've found it on the floor, in a toy box, in a shoe, in the closet, in a drawer... thank goodness I don't put it on silent very often or I'd never find it!

One time Husband, in a hurry, grabbed the TV remote instead of his cell phone. He was quite a way away from home when he tried to call me and realized his mistake!

I "lost" mine in the glove box for about three weeks. I totally forgot I'd put it in there. Duh.

I'll let you know when I've found it. The little one took off with it and it's been MIA since. Too bad it was turned off at the time. We can't even call it to find out where it is!

Oh my goodness! The strangest place I ever found my phone was in the fridge and luckily it hadn't been in there very long. Obviously I was doing too many things at once!
