Piano Recital

We enjoyed Ernest's piano recital Sunday night. Unfortunately I had forgotten to put the memory stick back in the camera, so I feverishly deleted the few photos from the camera's internal memory and managed to take this short video...

I wish I'd been able to get the end of the song.

Wow. He's very good. And he looked relaxed. At least, his body language did -- I couldn't actually see his face. :-)

[Chuckling about the hair comment.]

Yes, he doesn't seem to suffer from stage fright or performance anxiety.

He also doesn't own any button shirts that fit -- had to borrow that one from his brother!

Small Town Mom: Oh, how fortunate you are to be able to listen to him play like that at home.

Ernest: Nicely done!

He IS thinking about a career in music, right?

His career? For many years (and he's only 13), he's said he wants to study architecture at Cal Poly.

He wants to perform as a hobby. Acting, music...who knows.

I love that his whole world is wide open right now.
