The First Thing He Said

Ernest's plane landed at 7:41. It took ages to get his luggage. There were massive group hugs before the delegation disbanded. The kids really bonded on the trip.

I think we hit In'N'Out Burger around 8:30, because that's the first thing he asked for. (Go north on Sepulveda just a short distance from the airport, in case you need to know.)

As I handed him the delicious tasty fragrant burger, he said, "Mom, I haven't had food in over 20 hours."

"Seriously, nothing?"

"Well, airplane food. That doesn't count."
