Signs of Fall 2009

Once more, the season changes and it's fall again. Here's some artwork from Frank for a change, done in 3rd grade -- ELEVEN years ago! Funny thing, Ernest did the same picture only 5 years ago and his is faded.

A slight change to my hair color -- less blond and more gold. I'm probably the only one who notices.

This is a shocker -- It was cool enough that Ernest wore a jacket one morning!

And we got our annual pile of firewood. Thank goodness, we had a lot of help to move it!

That's a LOT of wood! How long did it take to stack it?

That's a whole lot of fire wood!

I love the picture--I always take photos of the pics, so even if they fade I'll still have something.

We never know if we're getting a full cord of wood or not but this year I think we got our money's worth.

Ernest says it took him and his cousin about 40 minutes to stack it all .. they were working on the stack while the HH and Frank were hauling it in from the driveway.

I helped toss it in the wheelbarrow until I got tired and decided making dinner should be my priority.

Bet you are happy it is stacked away now that the rain is here! Looks like many nice fires coming up - when it gets cooler.
