Big Boy Lego

Over the years, Ernest has gotten a little bored with Lego, after filling his room with it. (There's one more big Star Wars Lego hidden away somewhere in our house...it's a reward if his room is ever cleaned to my satisfaction, which it never is.)

However, I was intrigued by the Lego Architecture series, and since he wants to be an architect, I thought he would be too.

I was correct.

The Lego version. The real deal.

Oh awesome! I saw that in the box but didn't know anyone who'd actually gotten it!!!

I love the muffin tin divider idea! We always used ziploc bags in my house, but this looks more efficient.

Lego architecture series?!?! I didn't know about it. That sounds amazing and like a lot of fun.

Also, it's nice to see that I'm not the only person who has sorted Legos with muffin pans. :)

Merry new year!

Oh, COOL! I totally want one of those now. I think I need to buy it for one of the kid's birthdays so I can play with it.

I was wondering what would happen when my oldest got tired of legos...though I don't see that happening anytime soon, it's nice to know that there are "big boy" legos out there for him to 'graduate' to.
and the muffin tin idea? it's great, but....I would have to invest in a ton of tins...now? all legos are just tossed into a 3-drawered plastic shelf thingy.
