Bette à Carde sans Escargots

The handy husband brought home some fresh chard from a co-worker's garden.

I sauteed the stems with some garlic.

Then I wilted the leaves.

However, I left out the fresh escargot.

No snails were harmed in the making of this dish. I asked Handy to take them out to the garden.

Whoops!!! caught the little guys, didn't you!

I have some growing in a pot on my deck. It's real pretty.

I have to watch for slugs. They're not anywhere as cute as escargots. Amazing what a difference a shell makes.

I just stumbled over here from The Jason Show... and lo and behold. chard. Just had to cook it myself for the first time this week. It was delicious! Where has chard been hiding all my life?
