Carb Loading

I'm trying to replace some of Ernest's bad carbs with better carbs, to give him more energy for all the cycling.

Goodbye Eggo waffles. Hello, 10-Grain Blueberry Pancakes!









These are so good. He's been having them almost daily, and we have varied it once in a while with bananas or strawberries. Blueberries are the best, in my opinion. I always make extra, and Frank and I eat the leftovers.

We need to fiber load around here--I wonder if those would hit the mark?

Smart idea and I'm sure more successful than serving quinoa with dinner like I tried to do last night!
