Thematic Photographic: From Behind

Carmi at the blog Written, Inc. hosts a weekly photo challenge. Aunt Snow often participates but this is my first time.  This week's theme of "From Behind" seemed appropriate for me today since many of my Frank and Ernest pictures are taken from behind.  They seem to get annoyed when I want to take pictures of them...but from behind they'll never know.

I have to do an entire post on Chihuly Garden and Glass.  Breathtakingly beautiful.

Entering the Sci-Fi museum.

Port Townsend, Tyler Street Stairs.

And going back to 1998, one of my favorite from behind pictures of the two of them...

I must admit, I think all the photos are simply a lead-in to the last one. :) I am sitting here smiling at it.

It's a wise grandmother who recognizes her grandkids from the back.

Welcome Home.

I am fond of the pictures I have taken behind my boys (bonus, no aggravated faces!) and I am so envious that you went to the Chihuly garden! I mean, I'm GLAD you went and HAPPY that you shared a photo (MORE! MORE!) but I wish I had been there, too.

Somehow I failed to say, Amazing Pics! I like the way you had the boys in there for perspective. :)

I smiled at the shot of them going donwn the steps. The first boy thinking "i'm not waiting for you," the second "I don't wamt to be with you anyway." Blown away by the last shot and the entrance to the museum.

The last picture made me smile until my entire body warmed. What a lovely little couple ;-)

Love this. They can't see us if we're behind them!! They can pretend we're not there.

Love the Chihuly!

The parent in me felt soft and warm navigating through this series. My kids have also hit the age where they just don't want me sticking my lens in their faces anymore. From behind is often my only choice - and here, you make it magical. What a great way to reflect the theme!
