They used to just come with the doll and you had to use your imagination to come up with who your barbie would be. If you were lucky you got the dream house or the car but we always made our rooms out of boxes too. The neighborhood barbie playing sessions were epic!Claudia from Idiot's Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01541460586713196175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33395706.post-4844128955667831932014-11-01T13:09:08.081-07:002014-11-01T13:09:08.081-07:00I agree with Jenny. A friend of mine would come over and we would throw all our collective Barbie clothes in a big pile on the floor and take about an hour picking out clothes, taking turns. When that was over we played with them for about five minutes. I can still see that pile of doll clothes sitting between us.....slow panichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00806001325853693285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33395706.post-30052867154456530462014-10-31T13:23:20.503-07:002014-10-31T13:23:20.503-07:00Barbie definitely knows how to play guitar. My best friend and I had a small handful of Barbies and her/their various friends and sisters…elaborate ongoing story lines…making clothes and furniture for them all…a stable full of Breyer horses...it's a cliche to say those were simpler times, but they really were. Sigh.Jenny Hart Borenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06587246633354905840noreply@blogger.com
