Gingerbread Pancakes

I made the most delicious gingerbread pancakes this morning from a recipe at Family Style Food.

Here's Frank's embellishment! Looks just like IHOP.

They were also good with maple syrup. I think we'll be having these often.

The only change I made to the recipe was to substitute maple syrup for molasses, because I didn't have any molasses. I haven't had molasses in the cupboard in years. I don't think it mattered.

What's cooking in your kitchen?

  1. Oh yum. Those look delish.

Here, we're making chocolate chip pancakes this morning, as well as eggs and hash browns.

  2. Well, there's nothing cooking in my kitchen tonight, BUT ... I made homemade buttermilk pancakes for dinner recently. My husband and daughter were thrilled.

My veganism? THEY SUFFER BECAUSE OF IT. :D

  3. I'd skip the whipped cram - but those look and sound great!

  4. This sounds terrific! And I've been buying cans of whipped cream like crazy lately -- it's become a kitchen staple. Zack's been having French toast every morning and it MUST have whipped cream.
