"Where's The Ice Cream?"

Ernest is having a little problem waking up this week. Only this week? No, it's ongoing.

This morning, after his second "wake-up" call from me, he called out, "Where's the ice cream?"

Huh? Wha? He was dreaming. He said it was a line from one of the zoo skits he did last summer.

The night before I woke up to hear a noise -- thump -- everything on my husband's dresser was knocked to the ground and my electric blanket controller was pulled out on the floor. I got up to find an ugly brown cat just outside the door, staring and taunting me. I went back to bed. And WOKE UP. It was all a dream. I wish I'd dreamed about ice cream!

What have you dreamed about lately?

  1. Since I've given up chocolate for the month of January, one would think that's what I'm dreaming about. Instead, it's just been random stuff ... nothing exciting.

  2. I had a vivid one lately about there being an electrical fire in the walls of my house. It kept burning and burning, but I couldn't figure out where it was. I chalk it up to post-construction anxiety,

  3. I have been sleeping so well I can't remember a single dream--it's heavenly.

  4. I most consistently dream of houses and it is increasing. I'm either moving into a new home and dealing with various aspects of that, or I'm at someone else's abandoned home and going through their stuff.

I think that I have a bit of a love affair with houses and although I live in a rural village, I lust for large acreage in the country again. This is pretty close though. :)
