I feel like, if not a miserable failure, at least a minor one in Jen on the Edge's Include Yourself in Pictures project, because I did not manage to hand the camera over to anyone else to take pictures of me. You know me, I hate to delegate.
However, I did take a couple cell phone self portraits.
While reading a book wearing my holiday sweater...
And dressed up for Handy's company Christmas party...
Isn't it funny, how we never photograph ourselves? Male photographers don't seem to have that problem. Lovely shots!
ReplyDeleteWay to make the effort! And hey! You got your WHOLE FACE in the self-shots. I managed to cut off my eyes on up in mine...
ReplyDeleteYou're not a miserable failure. After all, you did follow through and get two beautiful photos of yourself. :-)
ReplyDeleteI want to know how you manage to take great photos of yourself!
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you were busy having fun with family, I don't think you owe anyone an apology. A camera, maybe, but no apologies. ;)
My secret is the iPhone. You can see what the picture looks like. If I try it with my good camera, not only am I shooting blind but also I nearly sprain my wrist.
DeleteThanks for stopping by my site. I think you took two great photos of yourself. Good tip about the iphone.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, both of them. And strangely enough, I think we are wearing the same pair of glasses. We really are connected somehow.
ReplyDeleteAlso? Don't you DARE say you are a failure. You played a part in a very important event in my life this week. And in someone else's life.
Heidi, you look marvelous!! And you should definitely go take a gondola ride for your birthday.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures. I don't have an iPhone - I like the softness.
