Looking up: Blue Skies

Blue Skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see

--Irving Berlin

And looking a little lower, what else do I see?

Ernest chillaxing between races a few weeks ago.

I got so tired of the length of time it took him to lace up his high tops that I got him some slip-ons.  He still thinks they need laces.

  1. I have considered getting my husband a pair of those laceless Converse since he never ties the laces anyhow. He lives likes it's 1981.

  2. Well, he could be wearing those wretched boat shoes like my husband. I much prefer the laceless sneakers!

  3. I'm singing that song in preparation for my next show. It's awesome.

Off topic, I kind of picture Gary wearing Vans.

  4. How I love that song!

My oldest son ties his shoes once and then never again. That sort of slip-on breaks down the back of the shoe rather quickly...

  5. Wait...I though the style was to drag the shoelaces, untied, on the ground. I think I'm out of touch!

  6. Don't you just wonder how we are going to have to pay for this warm, sunny winter? Loving it anyway!
