4950 air miles.
1398 driving miles.
1 rental car.
7 colleges.
6 hotel rooms.
3 Broadway shows.
Many new friends.
Since I was driving (17 year olds are not authorized to drive a rental car, much to their annoyance), I don't have a lot of pictures. Also I didn't want to irritate Ernest more than necessary. I do have a few cell phone snaps which I will post this week.
It was a great trip.
I received mild cat snubbing from Homer but I'm sure to win back his affection with a dollop of cream cheese.
Now to tackle that foot high pile of junk mail that someone left for me.
glad you're back safe and sound!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home.
ReplyDeleteNow, rest and relax a bit.
one of those new friends here :)
ReplyDeleteWhew! That's a LOT of miles. You deserve a rest!
ReplyDeleteI'm exhausted just reading the list!
ReplyDeleteHomer might deserve 2 dollops of cream cheese, or at least a little bacon. (Cleopatra suggested it.)
Wow, so tell us all about the colleges you visited! I loved it when we went on our son's trip to explore colleges. I wanted to attend all of them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a trip! It was great to follow along on FB--looking forward to the stories.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing more about the trip! Welcome home!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a grand adventure.
ReplyDeleteSo you are college searching for Fall 2014? Then you know where I'm at, yes you do .. although mine is leaving in a few weeks. Leaving being a very relative term since he is attending the local university. But it's still a chapter closing on me that I'd rather keep open for a few more years.
ReplyDeleteHoping you found some hopeful prospects. And how does one find new friends while looking at schools? --Shrink on the Couch
