I once decided to make two simple curtains for our front doorway which has some small windows. All it required was making two hems on each rectangle of fabric. It took me FOREVER to get those curtains done. It was the last sewing project I ever did. I think I will bequeath those curtains to my children.
Love that movie! The cousins who live in our same city have never seen (and worse yet, do not desire to ever see) Monty Python. If my husband's sister did not look so much like him, I would question if her family was even related to ours.
Now I want to know if you a) took the sewing machine with you, and b) hemmed the curtains!
