...I make Ernest stop petting the cat because it's time to brush his teeth. But c'mon, he would pet the cat forever. Sometimes he multi-tasks and pets the cat while brushing his teeth. I hope he doesn't mix up his hands and get cat fur in his mouth.
Mmmmmm.... fur in the mouth tastes so good! If the hair is long (and strong) enough it can serve as dental floss in a pinch. Belgian Shepherd and Border Collie fur is marvelous for this. If it's short and fine like cat hair, it has a way of tickling as it travels all the way down, thus making clearing one's throat a necessity. Weasel fur on the other hand has its own unique characteristics. This ultra short fur is coarse and, when ingested, just begs to be picked out. It also has a way of adhering to lipstick and can put one in an embarrassing situation if out in public.
