This has been the week of the TV hunt. He has the sons in on the hunt right now and I am just plain tired of it. The first one wasn't quite right so now they are auditioning another one. Would a lion have thrown out the first gazelle because the horns weren't quite right? I think not. Although that would be the lioness doing the hunting, correct?
I would like to gather myself in a corner until the hunt is over with.
We have taken on certain roles too, and I can count on my husband to do the hunting, as long as I'm willing to endure the time it takes for him to do the most complete research ever done on things like a GPS unit for the car, or a new grill.
ReplyDeleteIf I want it done fast, I have to do it myself, which gives mixed results. Our new TV? I looked at three, bought one that day, and its been great. Our pool? I convinced him to buy it the first day we looked, and I've kind of regretted the lack of research on that purchase!
I hunted/gathered last week to the tune of $500. It's best to not send me out shopping. (Once to the fabric store, then 2 days later to Target. DH is not pleased.)
ReplyDeleteI prefer to send the Lion out to the hunting. I did go with my dh to buy our TV 5 years ago. He was going to get the 32-inch model and I convinced him that 5 additional inches was worth the few extra dollars. It has been stated that I was correct. (Shocking, I know.)
Hang in there!
I'm not much of a hunter either. We bought the second house we looked at.
ReplyDeleteLOVING the cat gallery!
I don't mind hunting, but lose patience if it involves driving around and going to stores;)
