Ernest loved his architectural Lego so much that I found this for him:
3428 pieces. We didn't have nearly enough muffin tins. Thank goodness most of the bags contained only one type of brick. Grey. Dark Grey.
Ta dah! That thing is huge.
And here's the real thing. All photos by Ernest, from his trip last summer.
"Straight up now tell me
Is it gonna be you and me together oh oh oh
Are you just having fun"
Yes, he's having fun.
What's next? The Taj Mahal? And maybe, someday? This?

I love the architectual Lego kits and I love the photos from his trip to France, but really ... your son is so gorgeous. Those eyes, that hair! It's a good thing that my teen daughter doesn't read my blogs. She'd probably spend a whole lot of time at yours. ;)
Wow! I am so impressed. The Eiffel Tower is on our wish list, as is the Taj Mahal.
And I had never even heard of Brick Structures before now. Must go research...
I love the photo of the Eiffel Tower's shadow...so much more original than the standard tourist shot. I'm waiting for them to come out with a Lego Flatiron Building (Manhattan). It's my husband's favorite building ever, and would be the perfect gift for him.
Zack is SERIOUSLY into Legos now and wants all the Star Wars things. We're going to the Lego Store on the 26th with some of his buddies and my wallet is already crying into a wine glass.
A Taj Mahal lego building would be awesome. Nice to meet you!
That is fantastic--really something!
