My husband told his sister how handy I was with the iPhone. "He said you could find anything!" she told me. Apparently so. I tracked down Girl Scout Cookies in less than 30 seconds. He's still looking for them.
We had a cookie crisis! An extremely shy young scout, accompanied by her mother, came by our house. Of course I placed an order. Alas, I was not home when my order arrived. I got something else instead of the Thin Mints. Trauma! Heartbreak! And I have no way of finding the shy scout. (There is the tiniest of possibilities that I might have written my order in the wrong column, but I doubt it.)
We're eating those wrong cookies anyway because I support the Girl Scouts. And especially the shy ones. (Don't get me started on those fickle Boy Scouts who sell me a wreath one year and disappear the next.) (or on anything political about either group).
But still.... The longing for Thin Mints grows and grows.
Enter the Cookie Tracker which quickly told me I could find them in front of the local family-owned grocery store tomorrow at 3:30.
At the end of the time it took me to compose and proofread this message, Handy finally found the cookie info.
I rest my case.
