Why Won't Birds Use Our Birdbath?

Ernest made a cute birdbath in a crafts class a few years ago. But the birds never use it. This is why:

It's the cat's drinking fountain.

Hahaha! I wonder why?!

Why is it cats never drink water from their bowls - always from puddles, sinks, my bedtime glass of water...or the worst - the loo!

LOL! Oh, my dog Lucy would love that sort of water dish -- that happens to occasionally lure birds. :)

that water in the birdbath? that's like bird flavored kool-aid for your cat.
