My husband and I just returned from a cross country road trip. He drove, while I continued to refine my "shoot from the car window at rapid speed" photography skills.
This caught my eye, traveling through New Mexico.

I really love this shot! The hills, the truck, the faded pink paint, the pile of wood, the blue door - just fabulous :)
Thank you Alexia!
Now this is just the perfect capture to uncover (has me curious for more information about it too) oh Google ... and it's just perfect for Carmi's theme.
This is a great shot - seen and captured in a moment! Congratulations! Makes you wonder about all the little kids that used to go there!
I'm no artist, but I think this is a great photo, with wonderful composition - the truck, the pile of wood, the fence, the clouds, and of course, the pink school. The colors make the whole scene seem kind of eternal.
You figure it would make a great photo location for selling levi's or something :)
This is a great shot from a moving vehicle. I must try it -if I can find such a marvellous subject.
Nice work, getting it from the moving car!
I try that sometimes, but I have to shoot out the front windshield while driving.

There are some tricks to shooting from a moving car:
If aiming forward, make sure the windshield is clean.
If aiming out the side, roll down the window, no matter how much everyone in the car complains.
:-)
In my world, that is called a drive-by shooting (the ONLY good kind of DBS in any world).
You did very well -- and pink adobe always reminds me of my grandparents who lived in Santa Fe.
