I've been fretting about getting Ernest's senior pictures taken, which reminded me I'd never framed his 8th grade picture. It was sitting on a shelf in its original packaging. And worse, Frank's (6 years older) was in a trunk.
I'd bought cheap frames at Michael's a few weeks ago. How cheap? One of them fell apart as I unpackaged it. Not wanting to make the 40 mile drive to return it, I fixed it with glue and the staple gun.
So here are my beautiful 8th grade boys.
Now if only I could find some empty wall space for them.

That is the one problem over the years with taking pictures of kids...wall space.
I had totally forgotten that Ernest's hair was so long in 8th grade.
We have so much in common.
Now I am feeling a little less awful about not yet hanging my older 2 boys' senior pictures on the wall (all the while scheduling #3's senior pictures).
I am out of space as well. I'm going to start using guest rooms :)
Frank looks soooo different!
