I volunteered to take H-J back to college this month, not because I have extra time in my schedule but because it is the only way I will have an idea what his life is like there. Boys aren't often good communicators.
When Sam went away to college, his goldfish Sh!thead went along. Remarkably, the little fish thrived on neglect--even making the return trip in a red solo cup in the car. Back at my house, where I kept him clean and fed, Sh!thead expired. Too much positive attention, i guess.
