Ernest and I played "Life" this afternoon. As we totalled up after the game, I looked at the scraps of paper I found in the box. Many game tallies showed that time after time, Ernest won.
Today, I said "You won again, and you didn't even cheat." Two beats. Then we said in unison, "ANY MORE." Both of us remembering that when he was younger he always had to be the Policeman. And earn $100,000. Always.

Oh my, I haven't thought about that game in so long. I might have to dust it off and play again.
Hey, we played Life tonight too! Sass was the entertainer (singer, rock star, whatever it's called) and she serenaded us throughout the entire game. LOL!
My husband carries the nickname Stinky Cheater during our game nights. He was working tonight though, so we had no cheating in this game. :)
I love how you're always playing games with your kids! And at least he remembers that he cheated!
Policeman pays $100,000? I'll take that job!
You're a nicer mom than I. I'm always kicking my kids butt and making them cry. I call it character building. Or I'm just mean. I'm too competitive. The victory dances are probably uncalled for though.
