It's Peach Week! All our tiny peaches are ripening at the same time.
Last year, I let many of them fall. But emboldened by my successful apple weeks last fall, I am on a quest to use some peaches every day.
Frank was the first to take on the task, making peach cobbler. I did not get a picture of that. Handy took a turn with peach ice cream.
Last night, peach salsa.
It's going to be hot today. A tall glass of peach iced tea will be refreshing. Therefore I need to make peach nectar!

Yum! Love peaches! DOTR is on his blasted diet so no good food in the house. Maybe next year when they're ripe again.
Time for jam!
Peach ice cream. So yum. We had apricots when I was going up and when they arrive, they arrive!
I am sorry that the last 2 weeks in September are not going to be Peach Week. That first photo, of the peaches on the tree, is making my mouth water.
Gurrrl! That peach salsa looks so delicious! Reminds me of the late sixties when I lived in Goleta, we had a peach tree that bestowed on us somewhere in the vicinity of 500 peaches, some bigger than a softball! We canned them, we froze them, we incorporated them into everything we consumed that summer. There are tales of my sister and I going door to door with our Radio Flyer wagon trying to unload peaches...
I have not had a nice peach yet - you have me drooling over yours!
