On top of the world

Ernest returned from a month of rock climbing
on top of the world, both literally and figuratively.

I, of course, stole all these pictures from his facebook page.
What else can a mom do?

That green speck on the left there?
That's Ernest.

On the lighter side,
he practices his blue steel look.

They did a little fishing, too.
Fish heads fish heads
Roly poly fish heads
Fish heads fish heads
Eat them up yum

And one more piece of humorous information.
He peed on both sides of the Continental Divide.

Well, I just peed myself reading your last line, which was right after I peed myself from looking at the tiny green speck, which was just before I fainted from looking at the fish head.

Seriously, what an amazing adventure and so glad to get to see photos, albeit stolen photos. :-)

That is pretty badass, the pic of the big rock face and the tiny green guy :)

Whoa.
He's incredible. Even without the "blue steel" pose;)

Reminds me of Champ in his earlier days. He would climb and climb and take trips to climb... and i would sorta climb, mostly "boulder" (which is not half as glorious, worry about champ falling, and be jealous of the spectacular pictures he got!!! ;)

Ack. I am fainting at the heights in these photos. That must have been an incredible trip.

What a great adventure for him! I love the West -- just LOVE it -- and am so glad to be living here once again. (It's been 3 years and I'm still thrilled.)
I smiled with memory at your fish heads ditty and then laughed out loud about the last tidbit of information. (Of course he did!)
