Subtitled: Home Remedies for the Common Cold
I discovered that a handful of Trader Joe's Wasabi Peas did a really great job at clearing out my sinuses when I had the cold!
Any other good remedies? I'll pick one comment at random and send the lucky one a bag of peas.

I'm a big fan of orange juice -- with or without vodka.
Also, homemade chicken soup. And I do mean homemade, including the broth.
Here in Japan, we are big on the hot tea (not green...liptons is good) with lemon and grated (as much as you can handle) ginger...good for fighting off a cold AND for warming up your body on a cold day or night!
There's this thing at Whole Foods that looks like a lip balm that is actually a peppermint inhaler. It isn't a mist inhaler or anything and you don't actually stick it up your nose -- you just hold it under your nose and sniff. It works really well.
Ladies, you are all winners.
