My previous post was pretty fishy.
So here's another fish picture. I scanned this slide a few days ago...it's my dad with a bunch of fish. When? Maybe 1948. It wasn't dated, but it was with some other slides dated that year.
So Dad, nice fish! Where were you and these fish? If it's 1948, I think you are about 22 here? You have a great beard. I think Frank inherited your great beard genes.

Barbara, I was surprised, too, but I found a whole box of color slides labeled "1948." Which seems to be about right judging from my mother's hair style.
I looked it up, on the internet of course...Kodachrome film (slides) was introduced in 1935.
My dad says:
"This was taken at Richardson Grove State Park. They are the only Steelhead that I ever caught! I'll try to assign a date to it. A rough guess is 1949 or 1950."
