It's "Buffet" Night

That's what I call it when I clean out the refrigerator and serve leftovers. We have:

1) Entree: a lot of tri-tip and a little chicken from last night's barbecue. There's also some spaghetti.
2) Side dishes: potato salad, pasta salad, chili beans, and garlic bread (from last night), Spanish rice and cheesy broccoli rice, (from earlier in the week). I threw out the mashed potatoes of questionable age.
3) Greens: A freshly made salad!

The fact that you made a salad shows what a good mother you are. I would have probably skipped that part completely.
